Logan Sports Marketing was engaged to deliver a private screening event that would transform one family’s extraordinary story into a powerful platform for awareness, fundraising and meaningful conversation around motor neuron disease (MND) and baby loss.
Hosted at the Royal Geographical Society in London on 5 December 2025, the event centred around the premiere of Dr. Luke: MND, Hadrian’s Wall and a GP’s Journey to Define His Own Narrative. Produced by Jack Fisher, the 20-minute documentary shared Luke’s deeply personal story, exploring his recent MND diagnosis, the loss of his son Rowan, who was born sleeping, and the fundraising challenge undertaken by Luke, his wife and friends as they walked Hadrian’s Wall in support of My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and Petals Charity.
Logan Sports Marketing managed the planning and delivery of the evening, creating an intimate experience for the 90 invited guests. Representatives from both charities addressed the audience alongside Luke, providing further insight into their work and the impact of the funds being raised. The evening concluded with a carefully managed pledge moment, giving guests the opportunity to support both charities through donations.
The event successfully combined compelling storytelling with meaningful fundraising, creating a powerful platform to increase awareness of motor neuron disease and baby loss while inspiring generosity among those in attendance. It demonstrated Logan Sports Marketing’s ability to deliver sensitive, purpose-led events that balance flawless event management with authentic human stories, creating experiences that leave a lasting emotional impact while delivering tangible outcomes for charitable partners.
