Celebrity Golf Event – Finca Cortesin

LSM provided end-to-end event management and were responsible for sourcing and managing talent for a Celebrity Golf Event in Finca Cortesin, Spain.

The cohort of Kenny Logan, Brian O’Driscoll, Ally McCoist, Anton Du Beke, Jeremy Guscott, Mark Foster, Graeme Swann, Jimmy Nesbitt, Ali Williams and AP McCoy brought enthusiasm, humour and stardust to the event as celebrity team captains.

It was Foster’s team who ultimately emerged victorious whilst McCoist was the best performing individual celebrity. Nesbitt showed off his precision in winning the Nearest to the Pin contest on the Par 3 17th and it was the ex-Ireland and Lions stalwart O’Driscoll who outshone the other ex-athletes in winning the Longest Drive.

These performances, and many others beside, were toasted at dinner that evening with the gorgeous poolside setting of the Finca hotel providing a memorable backdrop. An undoubted highlight of the evening was the game of Call My Bluff contested amongst the celebs to round off the night.
