Slingsby Golf Academy – Series 2

Due to the success of the first edition of The Slingsby Golf Academy, we launched a second series in 2022 that was even stronger than the first edition.

With Slingsby’s continued mission to inspire and increase female participation in the game, we continued to utillise their partnership with the BMW PGA at Wentworth, to create a competition to take 4 ladies from never having picked up clubs to competing against each other for a coverted sport at the Pro-Am tournament at Wentworth.

With the introduction of our host, Anton Du Beke, and four new cadets in the shape of Judy Murray, Zara Tindall, Dr Zoe Williams and Anna Woolhouse, the second series was back with a bang.

The campaign generated over 16 million views and was featured across national broadcast and print, as well as numerous golf media and social media channels. This campaign, created, produced, marketed, and promoted by Logan Sports Marketing, resulted in…

• A seven-part content series that followed the journey of four female celebrities as they took up the game of golf. Each was partnered with a PGA Professional and their goal was to qualify for the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am.
• The recruitment and management of contracted Ambassadors.
• Media partnerships alongside Sky Sports, Hello Magazine, Golfing World and Women in Golf.
• Brand partnerships with Callaway, England Golf, Wentworth, PGA, European Tour and BMW PGA Championship.
• PR – featured on/in Sky Sports, HELLO, BBC’s The One Show, The Telegraph, Evening Standard, C4 Sunday Brunch, OK, Daily Mail, The Express, and ITV’s Lorraine.
• The delivery and support of a “get into golf” grassroots programme that saw 1000 female beginners pick up a club.
• 1.6 million social media engagements across the campaign.
• An increase in Slingsby Gin’s brand awareness amongst a key audience demographic.
